NAR recently released numbers for June showing that the Existing-home sales increased 3.6%. This nationwide increase is a hopeful sign that consumers are still ready to act. The NAR survey showed that buyers who are in the looking phase are also up 12%. In June, 29% of the home buyers were first-time home buyers, eager to take advantage of the tax credit. Was there an increase in your market area?

With an increase in activity it is important to keep in touch with your database of contacts. The moment of inspiration for their next move could occur anytime. Will they think of you first?

Everyone knows the 33 touch rule and some are even using it. Nowadays with technology it seems even easier. E-mail drip campaigns, Facebook Updates, Facebook Events, Twitter Posts and many more online Social interaction venues. 33 contacts per year no longer seems excessive. Contact is often initiated multiple times within one day. The important message here is that you should be doing it! Why not? With so many venues to contact people through, why wouldn’t you keep up to date with your database?
