The Ritz Carlton Highlands (Northstar at Tahoe)

Exciting event this week is the opening of the long-awaited Ritz Carlton high on the mountain at Northstar. A private opening will be held on Thursday with the first of public events scheduled to start on Friday, December 11. The Tahoe Sierra Board of Realtors annual installation dinner will be held that evening.
Having the opportunity for three tours during the construction phase, I can report that this facility is over the top! Two weeks ago, personnel from Ritz Carltons across the country were on site training the local staff. This is a fabulous addition to the Lake Tahoe/Truckee community - a 5-star hotel for our area.
I'll report back after the upcoming two days of events at this new, beautiful hotel that also offers condominium ownership. Eleven units have been under contract since the beginning of construction and should be closing soon.
