Prices have indeed come down here at Tahoe, but not quite that low. The lowest priced single family home on the market is $329,900 (in escrow). There is a home at 676 Riven Rock for $359,900 (Zephyr Heights). It's a bank owned property so there's possibly some room on the price. It's rough, but could be cute.
As far as lenders go, I would suggest Steve Peterson at Chase Home Finance (no connection to us) 800-894-5440 ext. 214; Debbie Humphrey at Guild Mortgage 775-588-6232; Kim Marcarelli at Pacific Crest Mortgage 775-901-0702.
I think you and Linda are in town. Stop by if you're driving by. Maybe we could do lunch.
