Tahoe Keys Bank Owned REO Homes For Sale

Posted on March 28, 2010 at 9:29pm 0 Comments

Spring has arrived in Lake Tahoe and the Tahoe Keys the past two weeks. The ice has thawed and you can start to see grass peaking out from under the snow.

We currently have two single family Bank Owned homes for sale in the Tahoe Keys.

1858 Venice Drive a 5bd, 3ba, 2456 sq ft home on the lagoon featuring a boat dock in the marina. The home has an unbelivable price of $499,900. The bank wants this home sold and has dropped the price… Continue

Lake Tahoe Mid-Season Ski/Snowboard Report

Posted on February 21, 2009 at 2:30pm 0 Comments

Since we are coming to the end of February I thought it would be a good time to share some news on the current ski/snowboard season here in Lake Tahoe. After a rough start to the year we received are first major snowfalls of the season on Christmas Day. With a whopping 4 feet at Lake level and up to 7 feet at most ski areas, we went from riding on thin corduroy to skiing and riding the whole mountain, including the off-piste areas.

Tahoe Keys Short Sale/REO/Bank Owned Listings

Posted on November 13, 2008 at 1:30pm 0 Comments

As with most national real estate markets most of our current sales in the Lake Tahoe market have been short sales, and REO's (bank owned homes). Most of these homes are priced well below market value and are great buys. I would like to go over the current Tahoe Keys Short Sale and REO listings. But first let me explain the definition of a Short Sale and a REO.

Ski/Snowboard Season is Here!

Posted on November 8, 2008 at 2:30pm 2 Comments

As some of you may have heard by now, Boreal ski resort was the first Lake Tahoe ski resort to open this year. Boreal opened on Thursday November 6th for the upcoming 2008/2009 season. Being the avid snowboarder I am, I had to make the trip up. I could not make it on Thursday so my first day of the season was Friday November 7th.

Much better than opening… Continue

Tahoe Keys Bank Owned Listing

Posted on September 13, 2008 at 4:10pm 0 Comments

Last week we had a new listing come up here at the Chase International South Tahoe office at 2028 Marconi Way in the Tahoe Keys. The home is bank owned and came in with a list price of $849,900. Much lower than many of us Chase Tahoe Keys Specialists had predicted. This low list price generated quite a flurry, with 7 offers coming in during the first two days on the market. The bank accepted an offer on day three much higher than list price. The final… Continue

We were at Stevens Pass last weekend doing some back country in the front country (they opened the lifts yesterday). It was about a foot and a half over nothing. Not a bad turns to P-tex ratio considering.

This weekend should be better to explore the BC. We have a 50 inch base but it has not consolidated. Another foot or two of wet snow for a base would do us well. Then dump as much as possible of this light powder on top.

The good news is the season has started. I may take you up on that offer to ski Tahoe. I've only visited in summer to Mountain Bike.
