Mt. Rose Roundabout?

This proposal makes more sense than the proposed roundabouts in Kings Beach. The proposed roundabout at the intersection of Highway 431 and Highway 28 is not a high pedestrian area, unlike the proposed areas for Kings Beach.
Using roundabouts in Truckee and Reno have taken some getting used to. I can see their value in keeping the flow of traffic moving. They can also add great "curb appeal" when done properly.

Just a reminder that we are approaching our warm, dry, high fire danger season.
Yesterday we had the privilege of having the fire chief at our weekly Realtor meeting. He reminded us that there have been changes in the guidelines for removing trees from our properties.
As of now, trees 14" in diameter and smaller can be removed without a permit. This allows us as home owners to remove trees more quickly without having to wait for "permission" to do what is needed to keep… Continue

Lahontan begins full golf and restaurant services on the 9th of May. I believe that this year will be a banner year for the golf club at Lahontan. There are only 2 more years remaining on the development organizations requirement of having seats on the board of directors and the property owners are moving forward into future by adding upscale amenities and benefits to both the golf and social packages that are still available. Management and staff seem very excited about the quickly approaching season and there are already several booked events for the summer. May 16th is a realtor open house that I hope some of you will be able to attend. I hope your season sees new heights and a profitable business to all.
