Voice of Reno-Tahoe Real Estate

It's unusual to find many residents of Lake Tahoe and Truckee who don't have at least one dog. It's dog heaven in these here mountains! I'm currently on my seventh German Shepherd, having lost others to completed life, car accident, cancer and liver issue. My current Shepherd - SunDance - is a German German Shepherd and came from a basically vaccine-free kennel in Gilbert, AZ. He's also raw fed, an interesting challenge for one who rarely prepares meat at home. Turkey necks are top of the list, with chicken backs a close second. Ground meat with a few supplements and a dollop of mooshed veggies make up the rest of the meal. He is thriving and has pearly white teeth. To keep us legal, he has had the basic required rabies shot. We've had basic training, but mom needs some more as does he. I guess that part never stops! Lots of doggie romps are ahead with summer upon us. I think he was a fish in a previous life as he loves the water and jumps right in.

I have heard about the raw diet...perhaps on animal planet. How did you determine this was the course for Sundance. It sounds like alot of effort especially if you are not carnivrous by nature. I agree, its hard enough trying to figure out what to have for breakfast!
